“My passion for painting is rooted in my garden” is a quote from Kathy Anderson, http://www.kathyandersonstudio.com/index.php avid gardener and accomplished artist. It was a privilege to paint with Kathy (and others) at Middleton Place in Charleston this spring at the first annual Au Coeur Academy, https://www.facebook.com/AuCoeurAcademy. Her generosity while teaching was exceeded only by her energy and passion for capturing beauty on the canvas. This was absolutely one of the most enjoyable weeks of painting I have experienced in one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. Sharing this time with so many talented artists will remain a high point in my painterly life.
